Our Training Approach
Here at The Wag Academy, we understand not all dogs are the same! We approach every dog differently according to their needs. We are proud to be balanced trainers, molding our training methods to meet each dog's individual needs. We only implement training tools as needed but always incorporate positive reinforcement. Our values keep us in tune with your pup, driving consistent results. Whether your pup is food, toy, or praise motivated, we have it all!
Our Passion for Dogs
We understand that leaving your furry family member can be hard. All of our board and train services include picture and video updates on your pets training and play/decompression time! We have tons of snuffle mats, food puzzles, lick mats and more enrichment for our high energy friends.
Our Training Programs
All board and train services are completed at Wag On Inn for real life situational training and maximized results. We DO accept dogs with behavioral issues such as possession, human/dog reactivity, human/dog aggression, food aggression, etc. During your phone and in person consultation, our trainer will recommend the best training package for your specific goals. Our training programs begin at 2 weeks and as long as 6 weeks. The length of time recommended will be based on your goals and the dogs needs. Requirements for Training
To ensure the safety and health of all animals in our board and train and daycare programs, we require proof of up-to-date Bordetella, Rabies, and DHLPP vaccinations, as well as a negative fecal test within the last 6 months.
